Bjørn Saltermark (Project Manager at GCE NODE), Liv Øyulvstad (General Manager of Innovation Kvinesdal) and Anne-Grete Ellingsen (CEO of GCE NODE) met in Kvinesdal recently.

“We are impressed,” says Liv Øyulvstad, General Manager for Innovation Kvinesdal, after GCE NODE presented its projects and plans.

GCE NODE was given the opportunity to present itself and its future plans for local business cluster Innovation Kvinesdal recently. Kvinesdal is a small town in the western part of Vest-Agder County, and Kvinesdal Innovation is a body with representatives from the municipality and business sector.

“With regards to industry development, we view NODE as an important partner and supplier of competence. Our intention is to support and facilitate NODE in what ever way we can to make NODE succeed,” says Øyulvstad.

Presentations were given by Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO of GCE NODE, and Project Manager Bjørn Saltermark.

“Both the board and I were truly impressed by what NODE has achieved so far. We are especially pleased with the establishment of Mechatronics Innovation Lab, in which NODE played a big part. NODE is well connected, both at home and abroad, and I am sure the network will help us develop the regional business sector,” says Øyulvstad.

Former motorsport superstar Ludvig Hunsbedt is Chairman of the Board of Kvinesdal Innovation. Mayor of Kvinesdal, Per Sverre Kvinlaug, serves as Deputy Chairman.
