High-precision multi-positioning system earns Scanmatic the Digin/Sparebanken Sør Innovation Award.

The award was presented at Digitalkonferansen in Kristiansand last week. The annual award goes to a company, located in the Agder counties, which has produced innovative digital solutions.

“Through the development and delivery of advanced technological solutions, Scanmatic has gained a very strong position in its market. Scanmatic develops new solutions by combining the company’s own knowledge with existing solutions. This has led to contracts with some of the world’s most demanding customers. The company has been in the market for many years and the jury is impressed by its ability to stay innovate,” said Geir Bergskaug, Managing Director of Sparebanken Sør, reading the jury’s decision.

GCE NODE participant Scanmatic utilizes its expertise in sensor technology, data processing and communications to engineer, design and supply complete instrumentation and communication solutions for the professional industrial market. The company, located in Arendal, is an independent system integrator and is free to select components and solutions to customize the best solution in terms of functionality, use, quality and price.

The 2017 Digin and Sparebanken Sør Innovation Award is presented in cooperation between the ICT cluster Digin and the regional bank Sparebanken Sør.
