Global Outlook normally attracts approximately 600 participants. However, due to the Covid-19 breakout, this year’s conference has very limited space. To ensure Global Outlook reaches a wide audience a satellite event is therefore being arranged in Kristiansand. The satellite event allows business and political leaders, academia and other interested parties the opportunity to gather, follow the conference and network afterwards.
This year’s theme, “Co-operation or conflict in the 2020s” is highly relevant for everyone. The conference will highlight leading experts’ perspectives on the relations between the two global superpowers, China and the US, in light of Covid-19 and its effect on global politics, trade, climate negotiations and the need for increased sustainability. Speakers include the global shipping icon Andreas Sohmen-Pao (Chairman of BW Group) and the head of the Financial Times’ Washington Bureau Ed Luce.
We hope to see you August 10th in Kristiansand!
