Australia Wind Energy 2024 will be back at MCEC Melbourne on the 10th and 11th July 2024! We are attending!
Australia’s first fleet of aspiring offshore wind farm developers has been selected, and the federal government has issued six exclusive permits to companies vying to build giant turbines in the waters off the Victorian coast.
The government received 37 feasibility license applications for the 15,000 square kilometer zone off Gippsland region in Victoria.
If all six proposed projects were to proceed through proving feasibility to commercialization, they could generate 12 GW of electricity!
It is the right time to visit Australia in July!
