The initiative is part of the NorTex Data Science Cluster – Offshore Data Analytics project funded by the Norwegian Research Council. The goal of the NorTex Data Science Cluster project is to establish a cluster/network between Texas and Norway within the field of Offshore Data Analytics related to Drilling & Well Technology. The cluster/network aims to bring businesses, universities and research institutions together and collaborate to further drilling & well technology. The project shall also develop education through cooperation and facilitate the establishment of joint research projects between industrial, academic and research partners.
