Call for interest
Taiwan is committed to have 20% of its power (5.5GW) from offshore wind by 2025. In announcements from May this year, the government will auction up to 3 GW from 2022 to add another 15 GW to 2035. Foreign knowledge and technology is required in combination with local content. The high market expectations and the local industrial development entices most of the wind industry to make Taiwan their Asian HQ.
