Poland is attempting to reach it’s ambitious target of 10.9GW OW power. Contracts of 5,9 GW were already awarded in 2021, and auctions for 5 GW planned for 2025 and 2027. Amendments are planned for this scheme to increase the total support to 12GW.
In the Baltic countries, the pace of development within offshore wind increased drastically over the last year. Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are currently engaged in several OW projects at different stages, and new areas are planned to be put up for auction.
