Ocean Intelligence – Strategic Infrastructure in the Age of AI is a curated leadership forum during Oslo Ocean Days, bringing together leaders from maritime, energy and marine industries, technology, digital infrastructure, science, capital and government.

The ocean is becoming strategic infrastructure.

Satellites, sensors, subsea fiber, connectivity, cloud infrastructure, ocean data, artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems and underwater technologies are increasingly converging. Together, they are creating a new intelligence layer that is transforming how we observe, understand and operate across the ocean.

This convergence is creating the foundation for a connected industrial ecosystem and new global growth opportunities. At the same time, it raises important questions around resilience, security, sovereignty, ownership and control.

The programme moves from understanding the ocean as a system to the infrastructure that makes it observable and connected; from ocean data and AI to autonomous operations and industrial implementation; and finally to the capital and ownership needed to build and scale the next generation of globally competitive ocean technology companies.

The event will take place at Oslo City Hall, hosted by the City of Oslo, represented by Mehmet Kaan Inan, Vice Mayor for Culture and Business Development.
