23 January - 24 January | 19:00 - 16:45 | Glasgow | Open for all

Norwegian Energy Partners (former INTSOK & INTPOW) plan a visit to Scottish Renewables Offshore Wind Conference, Exhibition and Dinner in Glasgow on the 23rd and 24th of January.

INTPOW has joined forces with INTSOK to create Norwegian Energy Partners. First thing into the new year, we have planned a Scottish visit, with networking, conference and a series of meetings with the project owners and potential buyers to discuss the offshore wind opportunities in Scottish waters.

We have at earlier occasions found the Scottish event useful and small enough to enable good meetings with relevant developers and suppliers.

Offshore wind in Scotland
The UK government recently announced that the next CfD Auction to support offshore wind will be in April 2017. The £290m round will open in April 2017 for projects to be delivered in either 2021-22 or 2022-23. In Scotland, it is likely that the developers of the Moray Firth (EDPR) and Inch Cape zones will be applying. The Beatrice (SSE) project reached FID this summer and while most large contracts are awarded, there are still opportunities in the lower tier supplies and the O&M. The 588MW, 84 turbine project is being developed with a tier 1 supply chain comprising Seaway Heavy Lifting, Subsea 7, Nexans and Siemens.
