Approximately 30 people attended the first meeting of the Agder Cyber Security Forum.

There has perhaps never been a more relevant time to establish a new cyber security forum.

GCE NODE, Eyde-klyngen, Digin, Noroff, NFEA and Maritime Forum South are the founders and organizers of the forum which had its first meeting in Kristiansand recently.

Amidst increasing cyber-attacks and cyber warfare, the goal of the Agder Cyber Security Forum is to share experiences and competence about cyber security among Agder companies. This will primarily be accomplished through four annual forum meetings, in addition to the Security Talks conference.

The first forum meeting was held at Noroff in Kristiansand in the middle of March. Fredrik Grindland, Senior Advisor at Bouvet, was the main speaker and talked about how to reduce risks and consequences from cyber-crime.

The Agder Cyber Security Forum is open for anyone interested in the topic. Cyber Security Officers are especially encouraged to participate.
