“We are pleased to present a strong program for OTC 2016, including seminars, workshops and networking opportunities for county, municipality and business representatives from Agder”, says Project Manager Ann Marchioro at GCE NODE.

Sunday, the Agder delegation kicks off OTC 2016 with a business networking reception at the Wynden, with short presentations given by Statoil, Cameron, National Oilwell Varco and the Norwegian Consul General.
Program: Agder Reception

Monday, GCE NODE will host a stand together with Future Production, Telenor Maritime, University of Agder, Teknova and Iris at the Norwegian Pavilion. Everyone is invited to join the Agder delegation for happy hour at 3 pm.

Tuesday, we are especially pleased to be hosting a NorTex seminar, in cooperation with Iris, followed by a workshop focusing on digitalization and integrated operations linked to drilling and well technology. We have secured top speakers, including Derek Mathieson, Chief Technology and Marketing Officer at Baker Hughes, and believe the seminar workshop to be of key interest and importance for NODE companies and cooperation partners.
Program NorTex Drilling and Well Conference and Workshop

Wednesday starts with a visit at Baker Hughes Research Center and ends with the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce dinner.

Thursday, the Royal Norwegian Consulate will host a NorTex P&A workshop in cooperation with GCE NODE and Iris. Permanent P&A operations have received limited attention while we are facing the start of a P&A wave that will last for decades. Both requirements and challenges will be addressed.

In addition there are a number activities and events arranged by the Norwegian organizing committee, of which GCE NODE is a participant. Kindly contact Ann Marchioro for any questions you might have, or if you have not received invitations to the scheduled events.
