Marianne Engvoll, RD&I Manager at GCE NODE.

Innovation Norway’s Innovation Frame Program is continued in 2019. Submit your project proposal to GCE NODE before May 2.

The Innovation Frame Program (Innovasjonsrammen) is intended to trigger projects that are otherwise difficult to get started, and to contribute to speeding up cooperation.

The funds are to be used for joint research, development and innovation projects, in which at least one of the participants is member of GCE NODE.

”The idea is to mobilize as many joint projects as possible. These should be projects which at a later stage can apply for more funds from the ordinary funding agencies, such as the The Research Council of Norway, Innovation Norway and the European Union”, says RD&I Manager Marianne Engvoll at GCE NODE.

Only projects that are at an early stage of an innovation process can be supported. Innovation ideas are to be developed by specifying and clarifying technological or market opportunities and limitations.

Projects must represent something new and have a business potential.

Both preliminary studies (analyzing the potential of a future innovation project) and pre-project phase (further development of the idea, including prototyping) can be supported. The support amounts are respectively NOK 150,000 and NOK 300,000 (50% support).

GCE NODE will prioritize all incoming proposals and forward 2-4 projects to Innovation Norway for further evaluation.

The application should be submitted to Marianne Engvoll before May 2. Please feel free to contact GCE NODE to discuss projects, applications or other issues: Marianne Engvoll: marianne@gcenode.no.
