Those are some of the consequences of the digital transformation, according to Arnt Aske, Business Development Digitalization at GCE NODE.
“New business models will emerge. Customers and suppliers will be closer connected. An example: Equipment suppliers will gain more knowledge about their customers when they receive more data from the equipment. This knowledge can be used to enhance performance by benchmarking performance with other customers, to train personnel better and to find new ways of operating. Knowledge is key, and customers will do well to build strong relationships with their suppliers. This will be true for the entire value chain,” says Aske.
“In order to succeed in a digital world, it is important to explore new partnerships and increase collaboration. Companies must provide a more seamless and integrated experience,” says Aske.
