“We had more people stop by than we ever expected. We were able to talk about NODE and the Norwegian Cluster Program, and guide some on to the NODE companies that are present at OTC”, says Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO of GCE NODE.
The opening day of the world’s largest oil expo and conference was busy. The Agder delegation visited National Oilwell Varco, MHWirth and Cameron at their respective stands, and Frigstad, Norsafe, MacGregor and BW Offshore at the Norwegian Pavilion, where NODE’s stand also is located.
Hege Kverneland, Corporate Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at NOV, gave an inspiring presentation of NOV, including market outlook, new technology, implementation of more data and how to use existing technology in new markets.
“We are keen to launch research and development programs in some of the areas covered by Kverneland’s presentation. We have also had interesting meetings with various universities to find partners for different research programs”, says Ellingsen.
