A new offshore wind project, named An Ocean of Energy, kicked off recently.

“This project is designed to increase market shares by making the opportunities in offshore wind known to NODE companies, and by developing better and more cost-effective solutions based on the cluster’s marine and offshore technology and competence”, says Marit Dolmen, RD&I Manager at GCE NODE.

An Ocean of Energy is established by GCE NODE and funded by Regional Research Fund Agder. The project encourages NODE companies to be active players on the European arena, with the goal to engage in at least one Inter-European collaboration project.

“There are tremendous opportunities in offshore wind and NODE companies have the right expertise and experience to capitalize on them”, says Dolmen.
