Out of 87 people from Agder preparing to participate at OTC, 60 represent GCE NODE companies. 27 people either work for non-NODE companies, are politicians or employed in the public sector, or work at universities or other academic institutions.
“It is a great mix of academia, politicians, the public sector and the private sector. This is exactly the dynamics we are looking for on a trip like this,” says Ann Marchioro, Project Manager at GCE NODE.
Agder will host several events in addition to the Norway2OTC program and GCE NODE will host a joint stand at the OTC Exhibition. The Agder pre-OTC program starts Friday April 27 with the Emergency Response Seminar, an excursion to Galveston on Saturday April 28 and the traditional Agder Business and Networking Reception at the Wynden on Sunday April 29. The Agder program also includes a NorTex workshop on May 2.
OTC opens on Monday April 30. 16 GCE NODE companies are represented with their own stand and another 4 together with the University of Agder are part of the joint GCE NODE stand.
