Major NODE companies met with the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Børge Brende, in Kristiansand Monday.

The agenda for the meeting: Norway as a country for investments and the world as a market; foreign policy and company competitiveness.

Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO of GCE NODE, presented a very globally oriented cluster and talked about how NODE companies enter into emerging markets. Ellingsen was joined by three NODE company CEOs; Tom Cantero at Air Products, Tor Henning Ramfjord at National Oilwell Varco Norway (and chairman of GCE NODE) and Finn Amund Nordby at MHWirth.

Siri Mathisen (Regional Director of NHO Agder) and Harald Furre (Mayor of Kristiansand) also attended the meeting, in addition to a group of CEO from companies in the Eyde Cluster and professors at the University of Agder.
