GCE NODE reinforced long-standing relations with the business cluster Vital Infrastructure Arena (VIA).

As co-hosts of various events during Arendalsuka, GCE NODE and VIA (formerly known as the Tunnel Safety Cluster), have met regularly throughout the years to compare notes and discuss common challenges. This week, representatives from the two clusters met in Kristiansand.

“We usually meet twice a year. It is of great value for us to learn from the business development projects run by GCE NODE,” says Helen Roth, CEO of VIA.

This meeting was focused on strategies for finding capital to grow smaller companies.

“We see an increasing demand for capital for start-ups and scale-ups in both clusters. This is something GCE NODE fill focus on, and thus it is smart to find solutions together with partners that share a similar focus,” say Project Managers at GCE NODE, Audun Skare and Jan Helge Viste.

Business Developer Gerhard Steen at incubator Innoventus Sør also participated in the meeting.
