Starting in 1996, Miller had a long career at NOV where he served as President and CEO for 13 years and as Chairman of the Board for 12 years.
His work history includes broad experience in the oil service and drilling contractor industries. He spent 15 years at Helmerich & Payne, where he held various positions culminating as Vice President, US Operations.
Miller graduated from the U.S. Military Academy, West Point and earned his MBA degree from Harvard Business School. He serves on the Board of Directors for Chesapeake Energy Corporation, Ranger Energy and Borets LTD. He is also a Board Member of the Offshore Energy Center, Advisory Board Member of Spindletop International and member of the National Petroleum Council.
Since 2018, Miller has been Chairman of MHWirth.
