“That’s 20 million more than proposed by the Government. Ideally, we would like to see at least MNOK 30 for MIL next year, but we are still glad that the Liberals are fighting for additional MIL funding”, says Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO at GCE NODE.
Negotiations between Liberals, Christian Democrats (KrF) and the ruling Conservative Party (H) and Progress Party (FrP) will decide if MIL receives the governmental funding needed to buy the necessary equipment for the lab.
“We will fight for money to strengthen the University of Agder and to secure the necessary funding for MIL. New jobs in Agder depend on major investments in technology and knowledge. The Liberal Party is prepared to deliever this”, says Petter N. Toldnæs, the party’s top candidate in Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder.
