Following general presentations given by the four major developers, Ventyr, Equinor, Å Energi and EnBW took more than 90 one-on-one-meetings with a swarm of smaller and medium-sized suppliers to the offshore energy sector.
“Very useful and super-efficient. It would have taken days to book and conduct these meetings – if we were granted access,” says Rune Reinertsen, Sales Director at Origo Solutions.
During his four 15-minutes meetings he presented his company’s technology which is already in use at European offshore wind farms.
“We are looking to expand our offshore wind market share,” says Reinertsen.

Most of Firenor’s revenue stems from offshore wind. Business Development Manager Sigve Myhre says the company is already well-positioned but always eager to connect with the major developers.
“We are grateful for this initiative to bring major developers and SMEs together. It is important for all levels of our value chain to be familiar with Firenor and the products and services we provide. This is a great opportunity for us to meet with industry leaders to present our proven technology for fire detection and prevention,” says Myhre.
Ventyr, the developer of the first major Norwegian wind farm, Sørlige Nordsjø II, took 28 meetings during a very busy day in Kristiansand.
“It has been highly effective. We are pleased to meet with a broad specter of suppliers located in Agder and some from other parts of the country. Going forward, we will be in touch with some of them,” says Anne Knausgård, Country Manager of Parkwind – the operative partner of Ventyr.
