Parkwind, the operator in the Ventyr consortium which won the first Norwegian full-scale offshore wind development, has been accepted as a participant of the GCE NODE cluster.

Parkwind Norway is a subsidiary of Parkwind NV in Belgium, an integrated offshore wind company with more than a decade of experience from developing offshore wind projects.

Parkwind develops, finances and operates offshore wind farms. Since April 2024, Parkwind has been a part of JERA Nex, which is the renewable energy subsidiary of JERA Inc., one of the world’s largest energy companies.

Parkwind operates 1 GW offshore wind capacity in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Another 4.5 GW offshore wind is under development in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Parkwind is the operator in the Ventyr consortium which won first Norwegian full-scale offshore wind development. Ventyr comprises Parkwind and Inka Investments. Inka Investments is the renewable investment arm of Swedish Ikea. Parkwind and Inka have joined forces to plan, build and operate the Sørlige Nordsjø II wind farm.
