In March, Ellingsen informed the board of her decision to step down. The 65-year-old has led NODE since 2013. The following year, NODE was among the first two Norwegian clusters to be promoted to GCE – Global Center of Expertise.
“The Board of GCE NODE was saddened to learn that Anne-Grete Ellingsen wants to step down as CEO of the cluster. She has done a tremendous job for NODE. She is strategic by nature, has a phenomenal work capacity and never quits,” said Thor Arne Håverstad, acting Chairman of the Board of GCE NODE.
“A look at the strategy established for the cluster back in 2014, proves Anne-Grete’s strategic capabilities. The goals NODE set five years ago, have positioned the cluster companies for new business opportunities today,” said Håverstad.
Ellingsen is to leave her position on August 31th.
