Aulet is the Director of the summer school program. He is currently Managing Director at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship and Professor of the Practice at MIT Sloan School of Management.
“The Entrepreneurship Summer School will be an extraordinary opportunity. First, participants who are interested in entrepreneurship will get a realistic and very practical framework on how to move forward to make their desires reality. Secondly, those with existing businesses in a matter of days, will gain wisdom from years of experience from hundreds of companies on how to make their businesses more successful,” says Aulet.
CREATING MORE JOBS
The goal is to make it easier for new businesses to establish themselves on the international market and create more jobs in the different regions they represent. The primary focus is increased awareness of scale-ups, entrepreneurship and to evoke an entrepreneurial mindset.
“This intensive full immersive four-day program will give participants concrete actions and confidence to implement them to realize their dreams of growing the companies to the next level the moment they complete the workshop,” says Aulet.
SUCCESSFUL IN BUSINESS
Prior to joining MIT, Aulet had a successful business record. He has raised more than $100 million in funding for his companies and more importantly has led to the creation of hundreds of millions of dollars in market value in those companies.
As Managing Director at the Martin Trust Center, Aulet is responsible for entrepreneurship across all five schools at MIT starting with education but also extending well outside the class room with student clubs, conferences, competitions, networking events, awards, hackathons, student trips, and accelerators.
During his time running the center, Aulet has conceived, designed, and overseen the implementation of many new innovative programs including the Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP).
