Sharma will assume the position May 11, 2015.
The objective of the merger is to create a powerful innovation environment in Agder, where there is a potential for further innovation and growth. A stronger incubator is proven to be beneficial for faster commercialization of ideas. Access to early capital in start-up companies is often crucial. Therefore, a new investment company will work closely with the innovation company and start-ups in the incubator.
Sharma has more than 10 years experience from Telecom and has held senior positions in both Ventelo and Broadnet. Lately, she has worked as a consultant, in part with ICT-cluster Digin.
“Kamilla is hired based on her experience, and personal characteristics such as involvement, profit orientation and innovative drive,” says Chairman Svenn Roar Larsen.
“I’m looking forward to start. Together we will create an even better venue for innovation and collaboration with academia, industry and the public sector to develop tomorrow’s jobs”, says Sharma.
She comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Her parents established the Indian restaurant “Mother India” in Kristiansand I 1994, and her sister has her own series of Indian dishes.
