A digitized ecosystem is crucial for the O&G industry’s success, and it requires ever-expanding information access. The upsurge of big data and analytics technologies has vastly improved how data yields information. GCE NODE has therefore together with its members and partners, initiated a project for how to collect and extract common time-stamped data from top-side and service related equipment and processes. The project has the following objectives:
- The pilot shall enable improved rig productivity through automation and/or integrated operations
- The pilot shall assure that groups are more connected with the appropriate information access and transparency
- The pilot shall enable proactive decisions and increased automation
- The pilot shall enable reduced emissions through improved rig-efficiency and footprint
