“The Cluster Development Program is designed to make NODE a stronger cluster”, says Tor Henning Ramfjord.

The Chairman of GCE NODE and Managing Director of National Oilwell Varco Norway encourages NODE companies to participate in the new program, which kicks off May 26th in Kristiansand.

“This program is exactly what the small and medium-sized companies have asked for. However, the program’s main themes should also prove useful for larger NODE companies”, says Ramfjord.

In the opening session, he will give a talk on Supply Chain Management and Risk, an area in which NOV has excelled.

”Even though we are a technology cluster, we need to focus on more than technology and innovation. Supply Chain Management is part of running your business in a professional manner with regards to purchase and logistics. This is a very important area, and something NOV has worked on for a decade”, says Ramfjord.

He hopes to see representatives from many companies at the kick-off.

“I am confident that it will be worth while to attend. The program should give us insights that will enable us to build better companies and work together to build a stronger cluster”, says Ramfjord.
