”I am impressed by the size of the convention and the way Agder companies portray themselves here”, says Kristiansand Mayor Harald Furre after two days in Houston.

On the opening day of OTC, the world’s largest oil and gas convention, the political delegation from Agder visited several local companies at their stand, including Frigstad Engineering, Future Production, Macgregor, MHWirth, Norsafe, National Oilwell Varco, Cameron, and also GCE NODE.

“I believe many of us were impressed by the technology and expertise that the companies possess. It was inspiring to experience the companies in this setting”, says Furre.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected at this year’s convention, which is the main meeting place for the global oil industry. Around 35 NODE companies are represented at this year’s OTC.
