Partners include University of Agder (project owner), GCE NODE, Stanford Research International, University of Nebraska-Omaha and several universities in Texas.
The idea is for companies to build competence within data analytics and integration in offshore operations and equipment, mobility scheme, competence development and dissemination activities. Offshore Data Community is more of a collaboration project than a research project.

All industries and businesses are currently trying to develop strategies for increased data integration and the usages of data analysis in products and services.
