In a seremoni in Oslo Friday, only two new Norwegian business clusters were awarded NCE-status. Eyde Cluster, with 27 members in the process industry in Agder, was one of them.
An international panel of experts evaluated Eyde’s application and found the cluster to be outstanding in a global perspective.
“NCE-status is an acknowledgement of the excellent work done by the cluster companies. The financial support associated with the status, will enable us to reinforce the cluster”, says Helene Falch Fladmark, CEO at Eyde Cluster, which was established in 2007.
“We are delighted to learn that Eyde Cluster is promoted to Norwegian Center of Expertise and look forward to an even closer relationship in years to come. For the first time, the Agder region is host to two clusters at GCE or NCE level”, says Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO of GCE NODE.
