Ulstein Bridge Vision has a strong focus on design.

Design-driven Innovation Program (DIP) supports the idea phase of innovation projects driven by design.

The program aims to spread knowledge of how design can contribute to increased innovation and profitability, and to stimulate to more systematic user studies and increased design methodology in the idea phase of innovation processes.

Examples of projects that have receives support from the program are Ulstein Bridge Vision and Kongsberg Maritime’s Safer Aquaculture Operations Using Offshore Technology.

DIP is administered by the Norwegian Center for Design and Architecture, which cooperates with The Research Council of Norway and Innovation Norway when evaluating applications.
