Shell Australia has announced that its Prelude floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility has arrived in Australian waters.

The membrane nitrogen generator package for the Prelude FLNG will soon be set in operation. The package is the largest membrane nitrogen skid ever installed on a floating facility.

”We are proud to have been selected as supplier to this amazing project, and this again confirms our position as a leader within membrane technology to the marine, oil & gas marked worldwide,” says Tom Cantero, Managing Director at Air Products.

The Prelude will operate in the Browse Basin in Australia. It was built at Samsung Yard in Goje-Korea.
