Tratec Norcon strengthens its position as a leading automation supplier through the acquisition of Controltec.

The acquisition adds to Tratec Norcon a solid professional environment with skilled employees centrally located in Central Norway. Through the acquisition of Controltec, Tratec follows Norcon’s strategy to grow within its established market areas as an automation / SRO supplier to transport and industry. Tratec Norcon AS and Controltec AS now constitute an automation environment of 60 employees.

“Controltec and Tratec Norcon deliver projects in several of the same market areas and we look forward to continuing this work for the benefit of our customers. We want to strengthen ourselves in relation to projects within Industry and Water and Wastewater in the Trondheim area, and will continue our investment within SCADA and SRO projects within transport. Together, Tratec Norcon AS and Controltec AS represent a significant competence environment with solid references and great implementation ability,” says CEO of Tratec Norcon, Bent-Ståle Johansen.

Tratec Norcon is one of the companies in the Tratec Group. The company is currently approx. 50 employees and turnover in 2021 for NOK 116 million. The company is headquartered in Vennesla with branch offices in Farsund and Stavanger.
