The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and GCE NODE explored new ocean technologies and innovation opportunities at a seminar in Arendal last week.
For more than 40 years ONS has been gathering the international oil and gas industry to network, debate, do business and plan for the future. In 2014 more than 90,000 people visited the exhibition and conference.
”A close cooperation between the industry and the university has produced good results for the Agder region”, says Anne-Grete Ellingsen, CEO at GCE NODE.
“There are some serious challenges facing our industry, but oil and gas will definitely play a major role in the future”, says Eirik Wærness, Chief Economist at Statoil.
